Henry Clay High School Debate Tournament [CANCELLED]
They are hosting a “full” debate event… [Event Invitation/Details = Cancelled!] & [Registration Form]*.
*This form tells us you wish to attend but it is not a commitment (An active tabroom.com account is required).
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2023 (Sunday, October 22nd in China/Korea).
Time (Eastern): Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 am (<– this is just a prediction).
Location (Kentucky): This is an “online” event.
Events: This event will offer “Public Forum Debate” event for high school students (middle school debaters will have to face high school and middle school competitors). The official invitation has not yet been released.
Public Forum topic (NSDA): “Increased U.S. Militarization of the Arctic is desirable“. [Research]
Public Forum Debate: [EXPLAINER (VIDEO)], [EVENT DESCRIPTION (PDF)] & [FORMS (PDF)].
Divisions: Experienced and inexperienced will be divided accordingly (based on the number of entries).
Prizes: We (and they) will offer prizes (medallions) for the top performances.
Cost: ??? per person.
Important: We will need some parent volunteers to act as judges. [Judge Training/Update = Later!].
