They are hosting an “online” speech & debate event… 
IMPORTANT: A “Novice Competitor” is a student who is in their first academic year of participation in organized speech and/or debate competition. Any student who has not competed before August 1 of the current competitive season is a “Novice Competitor.”

Date & Time: Saturday, March 7, 2026 (No. America) / Sunday, March 8, 2026 (China).
HMDC Deadline: Sunday, March 1, 2026 (by 11:59 PM).

Grade level: Elementary = 3-5, Middle School = 6-8, High School = 9-12.
Divisions: This event is “open” (no novice division). NO VIDEO RECORDINGS!!
Debate Topic (NOF): The U.S. ought to require that self-driving cars replace human drivers on public roads.
FEES (NOF): School: $50, Event (PF): $60, Event (LD): $50, Event (IE): $25. +Judge ($75-150).*
*21st Century = $0.00 (We don’t charge anything for the debate tournaments – FYI).
