About
21st Century Debate Institution is founded on the principles of deeper learning and 21st Century Skill building.
Our mission is to provide a deeper learning experience for every student – building 21st Century Skills, which include Creative/Critical Thinking, Clear/Confident Communication, Respectful Collaboration, and Civic Involvement.
Our goal is to promote the development of self-motivated, self-confident, problem solvers who think critically and express their ideas clearly, effectively, and with respect.
We believe that promoting debate education serves as an excellent vehicle to accomplish these goals and will create a solid foundation for future success.
Our activities include, but are not limited to…
public forum debate,
congressional style debate,
model united nations,
mock trial, and more.
Debating will be at the heart of each of our online activities and our community events.

For now, all of our courses are taught online using Zoom and/or Google Classroom.
Bill Eddy (aka Coach Bill)
National Champion as a debater and as a coach. “Coach Bill” has been teaching and coaching debate for many years. He is a founding member and serves as the director of the academy.
